Transponder Cloning;
This pack has two main features “Transponder reading” and ” Transponder writing”.

Transponder Reading;
Transponder data, transponder reference, if applicable pin code, mileage, chassis number and key position are shown.
To read a transponder “Read” button on the Zed-BULL pc software main window, “R” button on the zed-bull device or “Read chip” on the main menu of the zed-bull is used.

Transponder Write (Cloning);
Transponder data is written either by typing transponder data manually or by writing read transponder data(from a customer working key) to a blank writable matching transponder. it is possible to manually type transponder data for the following transponders below:

  • Temic 11
  • Temic 12
  • Megamos 13
  • Megamos 14
  • Philips 33
  • Texas 4C
  • Holden Commodore

Eeprom & MCU Applications;
One of the most important applications of Zed-BUL Eeprom applications is getting more popular day by day. Let’s take a look what this application does:

What is Eeprom and MCU(processor)?

Eeprom is a memory component which stores electronic information without being connected to a power source all the time. This feature makes it very important for immobiliser applications to store critical key information inside.

MCU is a component as well as Eeprom, but it has a lot more duties rather than just storing electronic data(it may have internal eeprom area) like controlling different electronic components by sending commands to them.

The most specific difference between an eeprom and a mcu is; Eeproms have 8 pins and processors has more than 8 pins such as;28,52,64,112….

Key and pin code info is stored in the external eeprom or mcu internal eeprom.

Why do we need to read Eeproms and MCUs?

Eeprom or MCU stores transponder info or pin code info. Memory of these components are read by a programmer(i.e. Zed-Prog). To find key data and/or pin code inside this memory is a tough job to do, Zed-BULL eeprom and MCU application helps you to get these information easily and securely.

When do we need to read Eeprom or MCU?

Some cars may not have obd programming procedure. If all keys are lost, immobiliser related units are replaced by the dealer, this is a time consuming and high cost procedure, but Zed-BULL eeprom applications existing key data is read and programmed to a blank transponder to start the car.

Some cars may have OBD programming procedure but, there might be no tool to program the key via OBD in this case keys can be programmed via Eeprom & MCU applications.

Even if keys can be programmed via obd, sometimes it may not be possible to communicate with the car via OBD due to communication line faults, in this case keys can be programmed via eeprom and MCU applications.

Keys might be programmed via OBD but pin code can not be extracted via OBD, so it is possible to extract pin code via Eeprom & MCU applications and programm the key via OBD.

Some vehicles require precoded keys(precoded to that chassis number) these keys might be ordered from dealer, but this takes time and cost is fairly high and some dealers do not supply these keys. So with the help of Eeprom & MCU applications a blank key can be precoded.

Transponder Production;
Goal:This application helps you save time and money. It lets you generate various types of transponders using couple of blank transponders. Most of the cars use their own configuration on the transponders, so Zed-BULL helps you to load these configurations to blank transponders. You will not need to order blank keys from dealer and stock them, instead you can stock only blank transponders and generate them whenever you need them.

Important Notes :
Generated transponders are identical with the ones ordered from dealer.

Use of blank transponders significantly reduces your cost on blank keys, compared to dealer prices.
Instead of stocking hundreds of blank keys for different vehicles, you only need to stock few types of blank transponders, this will save time money and reduce complexity.
Generated transponders are solely for OBD programming purposes, they are not generated for Eeprom or cloning purposes.
Transponder production application is done via PC software and it is listed under transponder tab in the main menu of PC software.

Hitag Programmer(including some more different types of transponders) :
This application helps you to access full memory of transponders

To use this feature basic transponder knowledge is required.
This will help you to program transponders by looking at the eeprom file or make your own transponder production applications.
This feature may help you to unlock transponders as well if you know what to look and where to look in the eeprom file.
This application is done via PC software and it is listed under transponder tab in the main menu of PC software.

Chrysler Remote Unlocking :
This feature helps you to virginise used chrysler remote head key and make them reusable

Only big button Chrysler remotes can be unlocked with this feature.
It is not applicable for fobik remotes and only used for big button remotes with Pcf7941 chip.
Process may take up to 23 hours for a single key to unlock. It can be interrupted any time and might be continued at any time.

Zed-PROG

Zed-Prog, is a tool to read various types of Eeproms and processors without using Pc software, removing eeprom and MCU(in most occasions).
Zed-Prog, reads most of the Zed-BULL Eeprom applications in circuit with a help of reader clips and reads most of the processors(both in circuit or with removal). Biggest advantage of Zed-Prog is; it does not require Pc software to operate, yet another advantage of it is; it does read most of the eeproms and processors in circuit, without removing them off the circuit board. It is faster, easier and more secure to read the eeproms & processors.

OBD Modules

Ford / Mazda (OBD E) cable
This cable enables you to program keys and remotes for Ford, Mazda, Mercury and Lincoln vehicles via OBD. It also calculates incode-outcode automaticly for these vehicles. This cable is not used via PC software but updated via PC. It can only be used with Zed-BULL device.

VAG (OBD F) cable
This cable enables you to program keys and remotes for VAG group(Volkswagen, Skoda, Seat, Audi) vehicles via OBD. It also extracs pin code and precodes transponders(with the help of external antenna ring)for these vehicles. This cable is not used via PC software but updated via PC. It can only be used with Zed-BULL device.
